Extreme right website lists Dutch Jews

An extreme right website lists Jewish Dutch people. The Jewish information center CIDI is demanding that the list be taken down immediately. It says that violent antisemites may use the list in many ways.

COCAINE CONVICT DISAPPEARS

Drug trafficker Cetin G. who had been convicted for trafficking 15 000 kilo of cocain has cut his ankle monitor and disappeared. Albert Springer of the Dutch police union said that the court which send him away with solely an ankle monitor made an incomprehensible decision.

KLM: Mismanagement causes extreme passenger waiting times at Amsterdam Airport

KLM operational director Rene de Groot says that mismanagement at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is to blame for the extreme long waiting times at the checking of hand luggage at the airport. He added that the airport has aimed at unnecessary growth and neglected investment in the required infrastructure.

15 Injured by Smoke Bombs Thrown at Soccer Match


15 people were injured when a large smoke bomb was thrown during a first league soccer match at the Eindhoven Philips Football Stadium.  The victims suffered from respiratory problems and burning eyes.  A smaller smoke bomb was set off a few minutes later.  The game was between visiting Ajax Amsterdam and the local BSV team.

Dutch Child Porn Pastor Had Told Church about His Sexual Preferences

A 53 year old Dutch pastor of the old Catholic Church – not to be confused with the Roman Catholic Church – has been arrested in Cambodia on suspicion of producing child pornography involving young teenage boys.  He had been providing pastoral care at Amsterdam Airport and had been paying boys all younger than 15 years old to pose for him.  Police found almost 1300 nude photographs on his camera and Ipad.  He claimed that he had told church officials of his sexual preference for young boys.

Public Prosecutor to Start Criminal Probe into Gas Company


A court has ordered the public prosecution to carry out a criminal investigation into earthquake damage caused by natural gas extraction by the NAM company in Groningen.  NAM is a joint venture between Shell and Exxon Mobil.  A lawyer who represents people whose home has been damaged by earthquakes resulting from the gas extraction claimed that if there is evidence that senior NAM officials knew about the damage they could face up to 15 years in jail.

Drug dealing in Supporters' Home of Top Soccer Club

Police have arrested five people in an operation against drug dealing in and around the stadium of the Dutch first league soccer club FC Twente. Drugs were found in the supporters’ home. The police is investigating the relationship between fanatical supporters and a motorcycle gang. The mayor of Enchede is considering closing the supporters’ home.

Eritrean Asylum Seekers Holiday in Eritrea

There are reports that Eritrean asylum seekers in the Netherlands who have received asylum because they are threatened in their own country go on holiday in great numbers in Eritrea.  The Dutch Justice Department does not intervene.  There is also information that the same thing happens with Iraqi, Iranian and Sudanese asylum seekers who holiday in the country they flee from.

Intelligence Service: Radical Salafists threaten and use Violence

The general intelligence service AIVD writes in its annual report that salafists try to become Board members of mosques. In a number of cases violence was used. The AIVD writes that, even if in most cases these people do not break the law, intimidation and threatening with violence do not fit an open democratic society.

Arnhem: Moroccans Beat Up Homosexuals

Two homosexuals walking hand in hand in Arnhem have been beaten up by a group of Moroccans ages 14-18 years.  One of the aggressors attacked the victims with a bolt cutter who as a result lost four teeth.

Police on High Alert When Dutch Turks Vote

The national police and local authorities will be on high alert during the days when Dutch Turks can vote on the Turkish referendum next week from Wednesday until Sunday.  The extra security is especially required after the riots by Belgian Turks in front of the Turkish Embassy in Brussels.  A spokesperson for the national police said: “We are keeping our eyes and ears open.”
