Netherlands are Supermarket for Rogue Countries Building Weapons of Mass Destruction

Onno Eichelsheim, the director of the Dutch military intelligence service MIVD has said that the Netherlands is an interesting "supermarket" for countries that want to make weapons of mass destruction. A number of attempts to buy are blocked. He added that Dutch companies and knowledge institutes are insufficiently aware that countries like Syria and North Korea want to gain knowledge in the Netherlands.

Non-westerners disproportionately represented in police corruption

A new study shows that in the past 5 years, 40 policemen have maintained undesirable contacts with criminal organizations.  Most of those have been condemned or dishonorably dismissed.  In 40% of these corruption cases, policemen with a non-western background were involved.  This is relatively high as only 10% of policemen have a no-western background.

Dutch Professor Compares Bio Industry to the Holocaust

Roos Vonk, a Professor of Social Psychology at Radboud University in Nijmegen wrote an article entitled:  “To compare the bio industry with the Holocaust is not so strange.”  She claims that in the Netherlands, one lives amid a “large scale industrial holocaust.”  She mentions that one runs the risk of  being falsely called an antisemite or racist, if one compares industrial halls filled with thousands of pigs between metal and concrete to concentration camps.

Amsterdam municipal youth worker with criminal record supported by Mayor, promoted radicalizatio

It has become known that Amsterdam Mayor, Eberhard van der Laan pushed the municipality to hire Bilal L. as a youth worker.  In the past, Bilal L. had been condemned to 3 years in jail for preparing a terror attack.  As a condemned criminal, the municipality could not hire him without special dispensation which van der Laan requested.  Once hired,   one of his functions as youth worker, Bilan L. was to fight prevent radicalization of youngsters.  In fact, he promoted it.

The Scandal of the Previous Chairman of the Police Works Council

An investigation commission has disclosed many highly problematic activities of the previous chairman of the Works Council of the national police, Frank Giltay.  While the police force was cutting costs, Giltay decided that meetings of the Works Council should be held in expensive locations.  He hid the major use of alcohol at the expense of the police. The head of the national police at the time must have known of the problems concerning Giltay, but despite this, proposed to increase his salary.  The current head of police has dismissed Giltay.

A group of Amsterdam residents marched through streets of the old western neighborhood of their town to protest the hindrance by tourists.  They carried banners and megaphones and shouted slogans like:  “Amsterdam not for sale” and “Whose city? Our city!”

Senior Amsterdam Official in Charge of Radicalization-prevention dismissed

The program-manager at the Amsterdam municipality in charge of prevention of radicalization among youngsters has been fired. She had given various assignments on behalf of the municipality to her friends. She is also accused of changing the terms of proposals submitted. She is furthermore reproached of not having adequately intervened concerning youngsters of whom it was known that they were attracted to the jihad. A criminal investigation is still under way.

Almost a third of Dutch welfare recipients receive psychological treatment

A study by Statistics Netherlands and Harvard University has found that 31% of welfare recipients in the Netherlands are receiving psychological treatment.  Among people who go to work and school, 10% receive such treatment. People on welfare account for 58% of Dutch mental health costs.  The study was done on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.

Dutch Muslims should rise against fundamentalism

Dutch Sociologist who specializes in migration, Professor Ruud Koopmans, says that Dutch Muslims should come out much more forcefully against terrorist attacks.  He said that demonstrating against Muslim terror is a good way to fight against radicalization.  He said that the general population sees that Muslims are willing to demonstrate against Israel, or in favor of Turkish President Erdogan.  Koopmans also stated that while it is a lie that violence has nothing to do with Islam, terrorists themselves declare that they commit their criminal acts in the name of Islam.

Possibly illegal cameras on Dutch National Railways Billboards

The Dutch Railway company, NS, has been found to allow advertisers to insert cameras in their billboards to monitor travelers in order to study how long people look at the billboard.  It has become known that at Amsterdam Central Station there are 35 such digital billboards.  According to a spokesperson of privacy watchdog, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the use of the cameras may well be illegal.

Dutch Judge Dismissed Anti-Israel Inciter Can Sue Dutch Government

Yasmina Haifi, (a Labor Party candidate in Parliamentary elections) was dismissed by the National Cyber Security Center after she had tweeted that “ISIS has nothing to do with Islam. It’s part of a plan by Zionists who are deliberately trying to blacken Islam’s name.” She was then readmitted by the Justice Ministry as an employee in a different position. She has brought a law suit against the Ministry saying that she had no prospects for advancement at the Ministry.  A Judge has now ruled that Haifi (a Muslim), may take her case to a Labor Court because a written reprimand would have been sufficient as her statement was protected by freedom of speech.

The Hague major increase in discrimination of police officers

The scolding of police officers in the Hague area has more than doubled in 2016 as compared to 2015, 359 reports versus 154. In 62% of the cases the scoldings includes the word Jew.  The second most used word was homosexual.  In Rotterdam, the number of similar incidents was 258 in 2016. Also there antisemitic remarks were dominant. Elsewhere in the Netherlands, homosexuality dominates the scolding.

Gelderland: More than half of the Mayors suffer from aggression

Fifty six percent of all mayors in the province of Gelderland have suffered from aggression in 2016.  The main aggression was scolding followed by threats and intimidation and in a small number of cases physical attacks.  One of the subjects which caused many incidents concerned financial cutbacks in caretaking of the elderly.  In addition, the problems of refugees and possible asylum seeker centers led to aggression. Not all threatened politicians complained to the police.

Jailed Suspect gets taped Telephone Conversations of Criminals

Klaas Otto, the head of the motorclub No Surrender, who is jailed in Middelburg awaiting his process, has been given by mistake taped conversations of others detained in the same jail. The judge had permitted him to listen to his own taped telephone conversations. The police and the public prosecution consider Otto as a leading criminal in the South of the Netherlands.

Hungary Recalls its Ambassador from Netherlands

Outgoing Dutch Ambassador to Hungary, Gajus Scheltema has in a magazine interview compared the rhetoric of the Hungarian government to that of Islamic terrorists. Hungary has now recalled its Ambassador from the Netherlands and has suspended contact at the Ambassadorial level with the Netherlands indefinitely.  Dutch Foreign Minister, Bert Koenders said that the Netherlands does have some criticism of Hungary which does not accept refugees and has very strict regulations for NGO’s. That, however, has nothing to do with the matters of ISIS and Koenders distancing himself from his Ambassador’s comments.

Amsterdam: Municipal Council Wants Emergency Debate on Radicalization

Recently senior Amsterdam official, Saadia a –T was suspended and is subject to a criminal investigation for fraud and abuse of influence.  She was the senior expert on radicalization among Muslims.  Besides that she is accused of having missed out on major signals of radicalization and the role of recruiters in the city.  The council wants to know whether her department is in chaos and whether a club of ‘friends’ runs the department.  The national ombudsman confirmed in January that the municipality had not properly informed a father of a jihadist who was killed in Syria.

Egg Scandal Spreads

The largest Dutch supermarket group, Albert Heijn is removing as a precautionary measure 14 types of eggs from its shelves in view of the uncertainty over pesticide contamination.  Among the eggs to be removed is the company’s own brand; free range and organic eggs.  The government has said that farmers themselves will have to pick up the bill for the product recall due to the discovery of possible pesticide contamination.

Rats in the Kitchens of Military Barracks

Barracks and military bases suffer from a rat and mice infestation.  The Ministry of Defense is studying structural solutions for the dirty environment where military meals are prepared in various places.  

The Trade Union for Defense Workers, (VBM) considers the lack of rapid solutions for this issue yet more evidence of incredible poverty within the army.  Their spokesman said, “Besides the well-known shortage of ammunition, spare parts, and the large number of units that lack personnel, the Defense Ministry also provides food to its employees from which rodents have already eaten.”

Total Confusion about Eating Eggs

The National Food and Commodities Authority has published a large list of codes of eggs which should not be eaten because they may contain too high a content of the insecticide, Fipronil.  A company which destroys a specific type of lice has been hired by many farms in the past year.  The lice can cause chickens to become very ill.  The farms have treated the problem with Fipronil.

Riots have broken out at the local jail in the town of Alphen aan den Rijn.  The reason being, that products ordered by inmates had not been delivered.  It is the second time that such riots broke out in a short period of time.  Earlier this month, a psychologist barely escaped being strangled.

Amsterdam: Racism, Discrimination and Many Other Problems Among Firefighters

The Amsterdam mayor, Eberhard van der Laan and the secretary of the municipality, Arjan van Gils, have sent a letter to the municipal council   in which they claim that there are huge problems in the firefighters unit.  The workers representatives and their allies do not wish to fight against the racism, discrimination, and bullying in the unit. The new head of the unit dismissed an employee who done this.  The employee did not deny that he had committed racism, discrimination and bullying.  However, the judge decided that since the previous head of the unit had done nothing about it, the new head cannot dismiss him.  The decision of the judge was considered a victory in the unit.

Rotterdam: Anti-Israeli demonstrators call for Murder of Jews

The Leefbaar Rotterdam party in the towns municipal Council demands prosecution of participants in an anti-Israeli demonstration. Municipal Council member Tanya Hoogwerf says that there were calls of ‘Khaybar, Khaybar ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, sa ya’ud.’ That translates as “Jews remember Khaybar, the army of Mohammed returns.”This recalls Mohammed’s extermination of a Jewish tribe. The party asks Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb to take measures.

Mayor Threatened with Death

Mayor Victor Mokenboer of Woerden has been threatened with death.  The threats signed by drug dealers have been put in graffiti on a public street.  The Mayor has been very active in fighting drug dealing in his town, claiming that the situation has deteriorated over the years without anything being done about it.

Dutch Jihadists in Syria Threaten Killing in the Netherlands

The Dutch jihadist, Marouane B. has sung a rap song in Syria in which he threatens to come to the Netherlands without being noticed and cut off peoples’ heads.  The Dutch prosecution has already in the past said that it wants to have this jihadist judged in absentia.  He is the only jihadist who the prosecution wants to condemn for both being a member of a terrorist organization and having beheaded people in Syria.  He has told two friends in the Netherlands that he has done this.  He now claims that they lied.

Dutch Politician: In the Netherlands the doctor murders you.

Kees van der Staaij, the leader of the Protestant SGP Party, has written an article in The Wall Street Journal that in the Netherlands, doctors murder people.  He refers to the increasingly widening euthanasia policy in the country.  He now seeks international support in exposing the Dutch Euthanasia culture.  Van der Staaij says that he will try to place similar articles elsewhere.

Prosecution Investigates Senior Amsterdam Municipal Official

The prosecution has started an investigation into a possible criminal acts of a senior Amsterdam municipal official.  The municipal council was informed by this by Mayor Eberhard van der Laan.  The official has been suspended.  In the last four years, 32 cases of fraud and corruption in the Amsterdam municipality have been uncovered.  The Mayor has a result of that started an anti-fraud offensive.

Secret Report: Continued Existence of Air France and KLM in Danger

A secret report ordered by the French and Dutch trade unions of Air France-KLM found that the continued existence of the firm is in danger.  This is due to the huge differences in culture between the French and the Dutch. One KLM manager was quoted saying that “France is a kind of Greece, but bigger.”  He was also quoted as saying that “the French economy is a time bomb and Air France is a smaller time bomb.”

4 Dutch Soldiers arrested in Lithuania after brawl

4 Dutch soldiers have been sent back from Lithuania to the Netherlands after they were arrested when they got into a brawl. Lithuania media report that the men had been drinking.  The dispute may have arisen from an unpaid bill.  About 270 Dutch soldiers are stationed in Lithuania as part of a NATO Mission.  These soldiers helped to improve the defense of the country against potential Russian aggression.  
Comment:  That is the case except when they are drinking!

Violence against Prison Staff on the Rise

In 2016 there were 1880 cases of violence by prisoners against Dutch prison staff. This was an increase of 20% over 2015. In psychological institutions the number of such incidents increased to 133 in 2016 from 86 in 2015.

Dutch Government Overspent on Freelancers

The Dutch government has been calling on firms to reduce the amount of part-timers yet the government doesn’t have its own house in order.  About 13% of government staffing budgets were paid to consult with freelancers and consultants.  This was an increase of 19% from previous years.  The most extreme spender was the tax office, followed by the infrastructure and environment ministry and the justice ministry.  A trade union representative of the FNV trade union said that the situation was disappointing and worrying.

ISIS calls for terrorist attack at European Female Soccer Championship

ISIS has called lone wolves to carry out an attack during the European Female Soccer Championship in Utrecht.  More specifically it calls for an attack on July 19th at the game between England and Scotland.  The Dutch Intelligence Services do not consider this threat very seriously.

Asylum Seekers Caught For Theft Almost Never Pay Fine

In the Netherlands, people who are caught for theft in a shop have to pay 181 Euro to the owner of the shop.  However, only one out of 20 asylum seekers caught for theft pays this fine.  The official body, Central Organ Receptions for Asylum Seekers (COA), says that it cannot deduct this payment from the government money the asylum seekers receive.  In order to do so, the government would have to change the rules.

Databank: 45 percent of Dutch Jihadis are of Moroccan origin

A databank of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies contains profiles of 207 of the 280 Dutchmen which have left for Syria until june 2017. Forty five percent have a Moroccan-Dutch background, ten percent a Turkish-Dutch background. About 17% are converts, while coverts are less than 3% of the entire Muslim community in the Netherlands.

Turkish Intelligence Service in the Hague Prepares List of People to Kill in Europe

It seems that the Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT) has a command center in the Hague.  There it inter alia occupies itself with establishing lists of people to kill.  This has come to light from a leaked conversation between two Turkish spies in Germany.  In that conversation an official of the intelligence service says to a spy who asked for more money that he has to ask his superiors in the Hague.

Amsterdam Municipality Financed Lessons at Salafist Mosques

The Amsterdam Municipality has paid more than 300,000 Euros for religious lessons.  Most of this money was spent for Koran lessons or religious classes in mosques. The list of mosques includes Salafist mosques and other problematic religious Muslim institutions.  These include the El Tawheed, Arrayan, mosque and Al Karama mosques.

Police finds 2250 Kilogram of Drugs in Mail

The Dutch police has established a special team to search for forbidden drugs in the mail. Hundred sample checks yielded 2250 kilogram of drugs such as xtc and cocaine as well as soft drugs. The value of these shipments is at least 15 million Euro. These finds probably represent a tiny part of drugs sent by mail. The online international drug trade originating in the Netherlands has increased in recent years threefold.

Dementia expected to be main cause of death by 2040

By 2040 the number of dementia related deaths in the Netherlands will grow from 14 thousand to 40 thousand, according to a study published by public health institute RIVM. The increase in dementia related deaths can be attributed to the aging population. Dementia includes over 50 age related diseases, including Alzheimer's. There is currently no cure.

Intelligence Services worried about Paramilitary Turkish groups

The Dutch intelligence services are worried about the possible arrival of Turkish paramilitary groups who are active abroad and may come to the Netherlands.  This is written in a report about terrorism in the Netherlands by the NCTV, (the body which deals with the fight against terrorism).  One of the paramilitary groups has created a Dutch faction which possibly could be used for illegal actions against enemies of Erdogan abroad.

Every Week tens of Criminals go free because of Shortage of Police Detectives

In Amsterdam every week tens of files of crimes are put aside despite the fact that a potential perpetrator has been identified. This is due to a shortage of detectives. In view of the summer holidays of detectives many files may not be touched for months. Information about illegal growing of cannabis is not dealt with. The Amsterdam Chief of Police Pieter Jaap-Aalbersberg said that every week tens of criminals go free. He added that this mainly concerns burglars and thiefs.

Main Criminal Asylum seekers come from Albania, Georgia, Morocco and Algeria

According to the 2016 annual report of the NVIK, an information point for foreigners, 566 asylum seekers were picked up for 707 crimes last year. Of these, 84 came from Albania, 73 from Georgia, 67 from Morocco and 64 from Algeria. All these are safe countries. The main crimes were shoplifting. One person is accused of 13 offenses.

Immigrants apply for Chanceless Asylum to commit Crimes

The Telegraaf daily has requested from the police all documents concerning the arrest of migrants. The request was based on a law which makes this possible. The paper has been supplied with thousands of pages. Part of the migrants from countries which are considered safe apply for asylum knowing that there is hardly any chance of it being granted. While their application is investigated they commit crimes using the asylum-seeker centers as a base for that. The paper writes that the number of such crimes is always far bigger than what the police reports.

Mayor wants to force public prosecution to act against criminal asylum seekers

Mayor Jos Heijmans of Weert goes to court to force the public prosecution to prosecute six asylum seekers.  These six asylum seekers had been prohibited from leaving their residences on New Year’s Eve but violated this prohibition.  The complaint concerns that these six asylum seekers carried out thefts and harrassed a woman on New Year’s Eve.  They belong to a group of twenty North African asylum seekers whom according to the Weert municipality cause frequent problems.  The prosecution claims that there is not enough proof to prosecute them.

Judgment: Dutch State responsible for Death of 350 Bosnian Muslims

The Hague Tribunal has decided that The Netherlands is responsible for the death of 350 Bosnian Muslims who were expelled in 1995 by the Dutchbat soldiers from the UNbase in Srebrenica. Yet their families are entitled only for a partial reimbursement – 30% -- of the resulting losses.

Voters with Disabilities do not receive proper Assistance

About 40 percent of Dutch voters with visual impairment or with mental disabilities were not properly assisted when voting in the parliamentary election in March. This results from a study by the College of Human Rights. Most of the trouble arose in reading and filling out the ballot paper, and reading practical information, according to the study.

Two lawyers accused of bribing Police volunteer

The public prosecution has demanded 200 hours of community service as punishment of 2 Amsterdam lawyers of bribing a police volunteer.  The volunteer gave the lawyers offices sensitive information about victims of road accidents.  This gave them a financial advantage over their competitors, according to the prosecutor.

Youngsters in Dutch Jail show Jihadflag

On the internet pictures appear of youngsters in the Dutch youthjail De Hunnerberg in Nijmegen. They are holding drugs and the flags of Islamic terror-organizations. The Ministry of Security and Justice has confirmed that the pictures have been made in that jail. It is claimed that they are three years old. Conversations on the subject have taken place with those detained.

Dutch-Turkish filmmaker receives death threats

After the airing of Dutch-Turkish writer and columnist, Ozcan Akyol weekly documentary on Turkey he received many threats from members of the Dutch Turkish community.  These threats were far more numerous and extreme than he had expected.  After the broadcast on the decreasing tourism in the Turkish town of Antalya, he received threats that the Grey Wolves will cause him a slow and painful death.  Another threat received, was that Akyol had ordered his own coffin in Antalya.

Policeman who guarded Wilders arrested for leaking information

A Dutch policeman has been arrested because he has leaked information. The corrupt policeman has in the past been part of those security agents which guarded endangered Freedom party leader Geert Wilders. Wilders reacted: “This is incredible. The man walked around here in the corridor of our members of parliament.”
