Amsterdam: Jewish School Remains Closed in View of Terror Threats

The board of The Cheider, the Orthodox Jewish school in Amsterdam which has 200 pupils, has decided to keep the school closed today, like the boards of other Belgian Jewish schools have, after the anti-terror actions of yesterday. Dutch Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs says, "we do not want to create panic, but we also do not want to ignore the problems." The other two Jewish schools in Amsterdam have remained open. All three schools are in the Buitenveldert neighborhood, and have enforced very severe security measures.
