Childrens’ Ombudsman Criticizes Immigration Service

The Childrens’ Ombudsman, Marc Dullaert said that 3,910 children who wanted to follow their parents who fled to the Netherlands between 2008 and 2011, must get a second chance. The risk that they were rejected unreasonably is “unacceptably high.” He concluded that “the rights of the children have been trampled upon in a serious way.”
