Were Bribes Involved in Selling Dutch Tanks?


Two retired Chilean top military officers are being prosecuted regarding the purchase of Dutch tanks in 1988. The Dutch company RDM is suspected of having paid a bribe of $1.6 million to a lawyer of former Chilean president Augusto Pinochet. The officers are suspected of having pocketed part of the money.
